A large job fair will be held this weekend for workers in the Metro Nashville area for things like officer trainees and crossing guards.

It was set for Saturday Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Metro Southeast complex at 1417 Murfreesboro Pike.

The event was created by the Metro Nashville Police Department, Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Emergency Communications Center.

Along with officer trainees and crossing guards, officials are looking for civilian crime scene technicians, dispatchers and bus drivers.
