Junior League Makes Largest Vandy Donation

Posted

The Junior League has given its largest financial gift ever to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital's Child Life program.

The group has been a major force of volunteerism in Nashville for almost 100 years.

Most of that money was set to go to the hospital's Child Life program to continue the Junior League's legacy of patient-centered care as a major part of recovery.

A total of $500,000 of that will go to a program designed to make sure every child has access to healthcare.

The Junior League began its partnership with Vanderbilt in 1970.
