NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 16-year-old is facing charges after a gun stolen from an unlocked vehicle last year was found.
Metro Nashville Police say the loaded 9 millimeter pistol was recovered inside a home on 21st Ave. North Thursday night.
Police had received information that a teen at the house was likely armed.
They found several teenagers inside without adult supervision. Marijuana was also smelled in the home.
The 16-year-old was arrested for unlawful gun possession and theft. Police say he was also charged after a small digital scale was found.
An adult who lives at the home arrived while police were on scene. She was cited for contributing to the delinquency of minors.
Police say it was the second time a juvenile had been found unlawfully with a gun at that home.
The pistol was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Michigan Avenue in December 2018.
