NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A child suffered life-threatening injuries when a car crashed into a utility pole in Nashville.
The incident happened shortly before midnight Monday Old Hickory Boulevard near Arta Drive.
Officials with Metro Nashville police said a woman driving a Chevrolet Malibu veered off the road and struck a pole.
Both were hurt and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The woman had serious injuries, while the child suffered life-threatening injuries.
Due to the nature of the wreck, Metro’s fatal crash team responded to the scene.
