Two juveniles were taken into custody after several motorcycles were stolen from a police officer's Hermitage home.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the incident happened in the 100 block of Jacksonian Drive.

The residents were sleeping upstairs when police said at least two suspects broke into their basement. A four wheeler and two motorcycles were later recovered; however, at least three motorcycles remain missing.

K9 officers tracked one of the suspects down the Cumberland River near the end of Jacksonian Drive.

An ambulance was called to the scene to check out the suspect for a dog bite, but he's expected to be okay.

A second suspect was also apprehended at the scene. Both were tentatively identified as two juveniles.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
