CADIZ, Ky. (WTVF) — Authorities have charged a Kentucky mother after a house fire killed two of her children in Trigg County.
Kentucky State Police said 30-year-old Keyona Bingham left her children unattended inside the home before the fire started. Their bodies were later found inside the home.
Troopers say Bingham faces two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment. She’s been booked in the Christian County Jail.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. The investigation remains ongoing.
