Reality star Kim Kardashian West has made good on her promise to donate 1,000 shoes to a Mid-State charity.
In mid-December, 17-year-old Amelia Flores was featured on the show “Dish Nation” as she worked to collect shoes for the charity Soles4Souls -- based in Old Hickory.
As it turns out, Kardashian was watching the show and vowed to donate 1,000 pairs from Kanye's award-winning collection.

“Kanye and I would love to donate those 1000 shoes to Soles For Souls,” she said in another Tweet.
On Monday, only a week and a half later, the shoes began arriving at Soles4Souls. The team began sorting the shoes today at their facility.
The shoes will be distributed in January and February in Los Angeles, New Orleans and Wichita, Kansas.
