Kroger Discontinues Senior Day, Double Coupon Deals

Posted

Kroger announced it will be ending its Senior Day and Double Coupons specials in the Middle Tennessee Area.

The change applied to the company's Nashville Division, which includes nearly 100 stores in the Southern Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, and Northern Alabama area.

Kroger officials said in a statement that the reason for discontinuing the promotions were because pricing on all items was lowered.

The promotions were set to end on March 15.

Kroger's statement:

Today we lowered prices again for all customers in our Nashville Division.  As a result, we are discontinuing two smaller targeted discount programs. Those being Senior Day and Double Coupons. The last day these two programs will be offered is March 15th. We began communicating these changes directly to customers who utilize these two programs on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

We want all customers to save every day, without regard to shopping day or time required to search out coupons. These new lower prices on thousands of items throughout the store make the shopping experience easier and a great value for everyone.
