HART COUNTY, Ky. (WTVF) — Two Kentucky State Police troopers were injured Tuesday morning when a tractor trailer struck their cruisers on the side of Interstate 65 North.
KSP officials said the crash happened while the troopers were working a wreck at mile marker 59. Investigators said the roadway was blocked when the semi driver lost control and struck their vehicles.
We ask motorists to stay off the roads during #winterstorm2021 to keep everyone safe. We also ask because our troopers are working the roads. @TprPriddy reports 2 units were injured on I-65 this morning when their cars were struck while working a collision. pic.twitter.com/PXakf9Q1OY
