Large Amounts Of Drugs Seized In Middle Tenn.

Thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs and cash were seized Thursday as part of a multi-agency investigation across the mid-state.

Authorities found marijuana, cocaine, guns and cash at several different homes in residential neighborhoods. 

Metro Nashville Police officers and deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office raided at least three homes at the same time the Wilson County Sheriff's Office served a drug-related search warrant at a home in Mt. Juliet.

However, it's not immediately clear how or if the raids are connected. 

1. 200 block Wallace Road, South Nashville: Detectives found approximately four pounds of marijuana in a bedroom closet. Souksanh Vilayvanh was arrested after he allegedly admitted the drugs were his. 

2. 600 block Rocky Mountain Parkway, Antioch: Detectives found approximately 462 grams of marijuana, a .40 caliber pistol and $62,716 in cash during a search of the home. Adam Chanthapaseuth was arrested after police said he admitted the drugs and the gun belonged to him. 

3. 4900 block Shihmen Drive, Antioch: Officers found 376 grams of marijuana, 21 grams of cocaine, and 556 grams of promethazine codeine syrup. Michael Lee was arrested and charged.

4. 300 block Forest Bend Drive, Mt. Juliet: Wilson County deputies served a drug-related search warrant at a home and announced they had made arrests. It's not yet clear what they discovered inside the home or who was charged.
