NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Last Minute Toy Store still has hundreds tickets to give out to families who need to shop for their children.

The annual event is an effort to make sure kids in Davidson County have a gift on Christmas morning. They still need donations, especially for girls ages 4-10.

The LMTS had a record for one day Thursday, handing out toys and gifts to 2049 kids. Their goal for the three days is to serve 6000 kids.

Tickets and/or donations can be taken to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office at 5131 Harding Place.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. The store is located on WeGo Public Transit route 52B. When returning for shopping, you need the following items:

  • "Photo identification"
  • "Proof of Davidson County residency (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.)"
  • "Official documentation showing name and date of birth for each child (birth certificate, government assistance card or letter, shot record, etc.)"
  • "Proof of income (pay stub, unemployment/government assistance/separation from work documentation, etc.)."
