The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with the Last Minute Toy Store for a “Christmas in July” fundraiser.
The event will be held at three locations during Nashville’s Fourth of July celebration.
People who are attending are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys. You can also make a monetary donation.
In 2017, they set a record by serving nearly 5,500 children.
“We are really excited about this continued partnership because of the amazing impact we had on our community this past holiday season,” said Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall.
You can drop toys off at the following locations:
- Public Square Park entrance
- Fifth Avenue and Demonbreun Street
- Shelby Avenue/Korean Veterans Boulevard and 2nd Street (at the corner of Nissan Stadium).
Personnel will be stationed at the locations from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can also drop-off at the DCSO Administration Building, located at 506 Second Avenue North, any time during the month of July.
