LAKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Lauderdale County man is being charged with multiple counts of raping a young girl.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating 20-year-old Austin Brewer in 2018 at the request of 29th District Attorney General Danny Goodman.
The TBI said for three months of 2017, Brewer sexually assaulted a family member under the age of 13 at a home in Lake County.
On July 8, 2019, Brewer was indicted on two counts of rape of a child, one count of aggravated sexual battery - under 13 and two counts of incest.
This week, Brewer was arrested and booked into the Lake County jail. His bond was set at $75,000.
