NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The not-for-profit organization Current Initiatives is bringing the Laundry Project to Middle Tennessee to help families get through these tough times.

The Laundry Project provides complimentary laundry services to lower-income families as well as hospitality workers currently out of work due to the coronavirus.

It is sponsored by Zeal Church and Molly’s Suds. Organizers say additional volunteers and supplies are still needed. You can help be donating detergent, quarters (rolls of $10), garbage bags, coloring books, crayons, fabric softener and laundry baskets.

It will take place Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wash Tub Laundry located at 2177 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211.
