LAVERGNE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A LaVergne woman has been taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at her home on Wednesday.
Demetrius Monique Brown, 38, was arrested on felony drug and weapon charges.
During the search of Brown's apartment, police discovered and seized 7.3 ounces of cocaine, three pounds of marijuana, five grams of methamphetamine, 615 ecstasy pills, 753 Xanax bars, four vehicles, one handgun (reported stolen in Clarksville), and $72,788 cash.
An investigation by East Precinct undercover detectives into Brown's alleged cocaine sales led them to the discovery that the base of Brown's illegal drug activities was in Rutherford County. Once this knowledge was gained, LaVergne Police detectives and DEA task force members joined the investigation.
Brown is currently being held in Rutherford County.
