Temperatures were in the 60s, but part of Nashville was transformed into a Winter Wonderland.
The Winter Wonders celebration got underway at the Adventure Science Center on Saturday.
The event was all about the science of Winter and featured hands-on experiments and live science shows.
There was also a tinkering garage inventor's workshop. Organizers said it’s a cool event -- pun intended.
“We have activities about snow and how to tell the difference between snow, and you can learn how to melt ice and why that makes things safer,” said Erin Castellano, a science educator.
The celebration has been scheduled to continue every Saturday in December. There will also be a Winter Wonders week the last week of the month. To learn more, visit the Adventure Science Center online.
