LEBANON, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three emergency call boxes were installed at Don Fox Park in Lebanon in an effort to keep more people safe.
If someone is experiencing an emergency, all they have to do is push a button at one of the call boxes to get help.
A person will answer and know exactly where you're calling from. They can then send help right away.
The call boxes aren't the only new additions. Mayor Bernie Ash and Councilman Joey Carmack talked about the city's overall safety plan.
It cost the city about $45,000 for all three emergency call boxes.
