NewsChannel 5's meteorologist Lelan Statom competed against other Nashville meteorologists for a good cause.
Lelan competed against colleagues from other Nashville T-V stations to see who could make the best kabob in the Grill Off.
They didn't do it all by themselves though, each meteorologist teamed up with a senior citizen.
Lelan and his partner came in second place.
All proceeds from the Grill-Off will benefit the LaVergne Senior Center.
