An overnight fire in Millersville that destroyed a home was believed to be caused by lightning.
The fire broke at in a home at 2013 Mansker Driver. It was a total loss.
The fire did minor damage to house beside it by melting the siding. Firefighters believed the home hit by lightning.
A family was inside the home at the time including two children their mom and dad. They all got out safely without injury.
They told firefighters they heard a boom, didn't see anything inside the house, but it knocked their power out. When they went outside to check it out, they saw flames shooting through the roof.
