SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (AP) -- Five people were listed in critical condition after a crash involving a limousine and two other cars in Southern California.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said initial information indicated the limo ran a red light. The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday in Santa Clarita, about 35 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Eleven people in total were injured in the crash, including both drivers and passengers.
They were transported to four area hospitals. No information on their identities or ages was immediately available.
