Crews worked multiple hours to gain control of a fire at a church in Lincoln County, but officials declared the building a total loss.
According to WHNT News 19, firefighters from four volunteer units battled the blaze Sunday evening and night at the Lincoln United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
Fire officials said they believe the blaze started in the attic of the church.
No injuries were reported.
