NASHVILLE, Tenn. - NewsChannel 5, the Nashville Chamber, and Lipscomb University have once again partnered together to present the 7th Annual Career Expo.

Hundreds of job seekers are expected to show up for the expo, which begins at 9 a.m. Thursday.

NewsChannel 5 has teamed up with Lipscomb University and the Nashville Chamber to host 71 employers looking to fill positions with their companies.

The event will include a career fair, career education and networking opportunities.

Positions range from the food industry to banking and phone companies. Omni Hotels, Vanderbilt, H&R Block, Aramark and the Nashville International Airport are among the employers looking to hire.

Coordinators said the expo will be a great chance for potential employees to establish networking opportunities within their desired fields.

"I think the number of booths down there indicates how strong the economy is -- the more hiring that's going on and the number of employers who participate. When we had the recession a few years back, obviously there was less hiring going on and less employer involvement," said co-coordinator Matt LeBlanc.

The Career Expo will be hosted at Lipscomb's Allen Arena until 12:30 p.m.

Make sure you're dressed for success and bring your resume.
