A Nashville community showed their support of a local musician who lost his wife hours after giving birth to their first child.
On Tuesday, Nathan Johnson and his wife Megan welcomed their first child into the world, but Megan passed away just hours later.
The next day, a friend of the couple started a gofundme page to help Nathan get through this tough time with his new daughter, Eilee Kate.
Within 24 hours, more than a quarter of a million dollars was donated to the Nathan. At last check, the total has reached more than $314,000.
