A Murfreesboro man has been charged with murder in connection to a shooting at an apartment complex near MTSU.

Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher D. Raine at a Murfreesboro apartment in the 900 block of Greenland Drive.

His arrest came after search warrants were executed at that location and an apartment in the 1700 block of Northfield Boulevard. Weapons and information were recovered from both locations.

Raine allegedly made statements implicating himself in the shooting death of Jaylin Pritchard.

He has been booked into the Rutherford County Jail on a charge of first degree murder.

Pritchard was shot multiple times Tuesday at the University Ridge Apartments on South Rutherford Boulevard.

Authorities said they’re also looking for 27-year-old Oran Domnic Puckett and 23-year-old Tyronzel Boyd in connection to the murder.

Both men were being considered armed and dangerous. They’re wanted for first degree murder in this case.

Anyone with information has been urged to contact the Murfreesboro Police Department at 615-893-1311.
