One person was taken into custody following at least two drive-by shootings in Antioch.

The first incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Holder Drive.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said someone fired shots into a home before taking off in a car.

As the suspect was driving away, someone fired back – shattering the back windshield and grazing the driver's shoulder.

According to police, someone then went to Tea Garden Way and fired shots at a home, leaving the house and cars riddled with bullets. That shooting was likely in retaliation.

Multiple shell casings were discovered at the scene.

Officials confirmed they took 22-year-old Malik Mingo into custody in relation to the incident. He was charged with possession of a firearm without an order of protection and a second offense of driving on a suspended license.

Mingo was being held on a $7,500 bond.

Detectives were working to identify the second shooter.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
