Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department said they’re searching for four suspects after one person was injured in a shooting.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Joseph Avenue.
Police said multiple shots were fired at the back of a house from an alley.
Authorities said the 49-year-old female victim was hit by a bullet fragment.
She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
Officials confirmed multiple people were in the home at the time, but they added it was unknown who the target actually was.
Authorities had confirmed some sort of disagreement happened, but police said they were still investigating the motive.
The suspects fled from the scene in a silver four-door vehicle.
