A crash on Old Hickory Boulevard left a driver with life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the wreck happened after 4 a.m. Sunday when Madison Precinct Patrol officers heard a loud explosion near Old Hickory Boulevard and North Graycroft.
Reports stated they found a grey Toyota Sequoia that had crashed into a metal utility pole.
The driver of the vehicle, believed to be in his mid-20’s, was taken to Skyline Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. His condition was unknown.
The crash remained under investigation.
