A woman was taken to the hospital after a drunk driver crashed the car they were in in the early morning hours.
The wreck happened at Franklin Pike and Kirkwood Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police on the scene said the driver was drunk and somehow lost control and wound up in a ditch.
His female passenger was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No further details were available.
