One person was injured in a shooting on Joseph Avenue.
The incident happened in the 600 block of Joseph Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Saturday outside a complex where the victim lived.
Reports initially stated the gun used was believed to be a pellet gun; however, police said they were working to determine if it was a real gun.
The male victim was shot twice in the elbow and once in the knee.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said the suspect was a man believed to be in his 20’s with short dreads. He was accompanied by a female.
