Police confirmed a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.
The wreck happened around 2:40 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of East Clark Boulevard near Maymont Boulevard.
According to reports, a motorcycle failed to maintain its lane as it entered a curve causing it to strike the outside curb and leave the roadway.
Authorities said the driver was ejected and hit a utility pole.
Officials said the driver had life-threatening injuries. He was being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. There was no word on his condition.
