Officials in Murfreesboro have opened an investigation after one person was injured in a shooting.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of New Lascassas Highway at the College Grove Apartments.
The shooting allegedly happened in the parking lot. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Marcellous Davis, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in unknown condition.
