A man was killed in a shooting on South 7th Street.
The incident happened just before 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South 7th Street in the James Cayce public housing development.
Late Sunday evening, authorities identified the victim who was killed as 46-year-old Malcolm London.
Officials said they found London lying on the ground when they arrived at the scene.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he passed away.
Reports stated the shooting appeared to be targeted, but the motive remained under investigation.
