Officials with the Murfreesboro Police Department confirmed one person was injured when a train hit a vehicle.
The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. Friday at South Church Street and Middle Tennessee Boulevard.
Authorities had not released details on the circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash.
They said the driver of the vehicle was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition.
Middle Tennessee Boulevard was closed until 12:30 p.m.
No further details were released as the investigation was ongoing.
