A man was killed, while a woman was injured in a single-car crash in Williamson County.
The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday on Old State Highway 96 at Noble Kings Road.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said 40-year-old Tammy Sabedra was heading east on Highway 96 when her car veered slightly off the road.
She reportedly overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the road and strike a tree.
Her passenger, 44-year-old John Harrison, was killed in the collision. Sabedra was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Troopers said alcohol may have been involved in the crash.
Charges were said to be pending.
