Police have released the identity of the driver who died over the weekend after losing control of his motorcycle.
The crash happened just before 6:45 a.m. Saturday on the exit ramp from Interstate 24 to New Salem Highway/Highway 99.
Officials with the Murfreesboro Police Department said 19-year-old Logan Stanley, of La Vergne, was killed in the wreck.
Authorities said it appeared he lost control of the motorcycle and hit a guardrail.
He was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where authorities said he was pronounced dead.
The investigation was ongoing by the Fatal Accident Crash Team.
