One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Robertson County on Interstate 24.

The wreck happened just before 6 a.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes at the Pleasant View exit.

Authorities said a 2010 Ford F-250, driven by 53-year-old Larry B. Dexter, of Franklin, left the roadway on the left side. Dexter then overcorrected causing the truck to go off the right side and flip.

Dexter was killed in the crash. Reports stated his passenger, identified as 24-year-old Hillary Q. Perris Burrell, of Nashville, was injured in the crash. Her condition was unknown.

Both victims were wearing their safety belts.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol were investigating the crash.
