A driver was hurt in a crash involving an overturned vehicle on Interstate 40 in downtown Nashville.
The wreck happened in the westbound lanes at Exit 210C for US-31A, 4th Avenue, and 2nd Avenue before 7 a.m. Sunday.
Officials had not released details on the cause of the crash. They confirmed at least one vehicle flipped.
The driver of that vehicle was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where his or her condition was not known.
The off-ramp in that area was shut down for several hours as crews worked at the scene. The investigation remained ongoing.
