A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 440.
The wreck happened near the ramp to Interstate 24 East around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Officials have identified the driver who was killed as 25-year-old William G. Bolden.
Reports stated Bolden’s 2010 Jeep Wrangler left the roadway and rolled multiple times. He passed away at the scene.
Authorities said excessive speed may have played a role in the crash. There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement.
The ramp was shut down for several hours Sunday morning while crews worked at the scene.
