Police confirmed a man was killed in a shooting at a Super 8 motel.
The shooting happened around 6:40 a.m. Saturday at the motel in the 1100 block of Bell Road.
When officers got to the scene, they found a male victim, later identified as 30-year-old Casey Lucas, in a room at the motel with multiple gunshot wounds. Lucas died from his injuries.
A second man at the scene with Lucas, identified as 30-year-old Roger Reid, was hit over the head by the suspect. Authorities confirmed he was treated at a hospital.
Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Antonio Jackson.
The motive for the shooting remained unknown. Officials said robbery was a potential motive.
