Police have identified the woman killed in a crash involving an overturned vehicle on Interstate 65.
The wreck happened around 7:08 p.m. Thursday in the northbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 88 just past Trinity Lane.
Authorities confirmed 40-year-old Kelly Renee Groves, of Nashville, was killed.
Reports stated Groves' injuries were extremely severe causing her identity to be confirmed through fingerprints.
The roadway was closed for multiple hours in that location as crews worked and investigated at the scene.
Officials said toxicology testing has been set to determine whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
