One person has died in a wrong-way crash along eastbound Interstate 24 in Montgomery County.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. Wednesday at exit 4 in Clarksville.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said prior to the crash, witnesses reported seeing a driver traveling around 100 mph on Interstate 24 East.
At some point, the driver turned the car around on the interstate, and collided with a tractor trailer before bursting into flames.
The person was killed in the crash. The victim's identity had not been released.
Eastbound lanes from exit 4 to exit 8 were shut down while crews worked to clear the scene. Lanes reopened around 5:45 a.m.
