One person has reportedly been injured a shooting on 14th Avenue North.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon in the 1700 block of 14th Avenue North.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, one victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Officials said one person was chasing another firing shots along the way. However it was unclear if both people were firing shots.
The victim’s condition was unknown They were taken by a private vehicle to the hospital.
The scene of the shooting was found on 14th Avenue North at Wheless Street. Neighbors in that area reported hearing multiple gunshots. At least five shell casings were found on the ground.
Officers did not release any information on a possible suspect, and were looking for witnesses to the incident.
