A 24-year-old has been charged in a hit-and-run crash involving a marked police car in Madison.
The wreck happened Monday at State Route 45 and Rio Vista Drive.
Authorities said warrants have been sworn out for the arrest of 24-year-old Jason Andrew Follis.
Reports stated Follis allegedly hit the police car with his 2002 Honda Civic. Follis fled from the scene on foot.
The crash left Officer Ashton Hill with a broken leg. The officer has been recovering at home, according to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Follis has been charged with leaving the scene of an injury crash, failure to render aid, failure to report a crash, failure to yield resulting in bodily injury, and driving on a revoked license.
