A 16-year-old was rescued from Sinking Creek after the current overtook him.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. Saturday just off of East Adams Street.
Reports stated a 16-year-old, whose identity had not been released, was trying to cross the creek on his bicycle when the water overtook him.
He was able to grab on to a utility pole until emergency crews got to the scene.
Officials with the Lebanon Fire Department were able to use their tower truck to reach the victim.
After he was rescued, the teen was treated for possible hypothermia. He was taken to Tennova Hospital for a precautionary evaluation. His condition was not known.
