An 18-year-old has been arrested on drug charges possibly involving methamphetamine following an undercover investigation.
Authorities in Putnam County said they executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Jim Garrett Road in Monterey on October 13.
Inside a camper on the property, officials found 18-year-old Dillon Newcome, of Knoxville, asleep.
According to reports, a search of the camper turned up marijuana and other drugs.
Also found were components that have been commonly used to make methamphetamine.
Newcome was charged with manufacture/delivery/sale of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Putnam County Jail where he was being held on a $1,000 bond.
Authorities said the investigation remained ongoing.
