Police confirmed a Spring Hill man has been placed behind bars following a home burglary in Franklin.
The incident happened in the 700 block of West Meade Boulevard in the middle of the day on Tuesday.
Officials said they investigated the case in which no one was home and a variety of electronics and prescription medication valued at more than $1,000 were stolen.
That investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Keafer Copeland outside a home on Banwell Circle on Wednesday.
Authorities said they found Copeland in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia when he was arrested.
Copeland has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $50,000 bond with a court date scheduled for October 13.
Officials said much of the property Copeland stole during that home burglary was recovered at the time of his arrest.
According to detectives, they have been attempting to determine if he may be connected to other crimes in the area.
