A 19-year-old has been shot during what he said was an attempted robbery.
Reports stated the incident happened Sunday afternoon on Fairview Drive by Clarksville Pike.
The victim said he was on foot on Fairview Drive when the attempted robbery took place.
The 19-year-old was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
He described the suspect as a man in his 40's wearing all black. The suspect fled on foot.
