A Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million has been sold in Rutherford County.
According to Tennessee Lottery officials, the player matched 5 of 6 numbers drawn Tuesday night in the Mega Millions game.
No additional information about the winner would be available until the prize is claimed.
The jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing has climbed to $359 million, with an estimated cash value of $219.6 million.
This was projected to be the 11th largest jackpot in Powerball history.
