Two people have been placed behind bars as part of a major drug bust in Nashville.
Blas Valle Garcia and Erwin Rayo have both been facing a number of charges.
Officers said they were making a traffic stop as part of a narcotics investigation.
Inside the car they stopped, they found around 4,132 grams of cocaine. According to reports, that’s worth about $250,000.
Garcia also had his 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son in the car.
Both suspects were charged with a felony drug offense. Garcia was also charged with two counts of child neglect.
Authorities said they found an additional 9.4 grams of cocaine, digital scales, and a stolen handgun when they searched Rayo’s apartment.
The investigation remained ongoing.
