Two suspects were arrested and charged with theft after police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary.
The incident happened around 8:05 a.m. Wednesday in Hendersonville at Stark Knob boat ramp.
A witness gave police a vehicle description and a description of the suspects.
Authorities were able to track down the two men.
Both 19-year-old Alex Allen and 18-year-old Markus Baggett were taken into custody.
They were charged with two counts of burglary, theft of property under $500, and possession of burglary tools.
Officials said they were being held in the Sumner County Jail. Allen’s bond was set at $5,000, while Baggett was being held on a $5,500 bond.
They have been scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. July 13.
Authorities said they believe the two men were also responsible for other burglaries in Hendersonville the same night.
